Freedom Transports, Inc. is celebrating 10 years of successful operation. This website will briefly Illustrate the past, present and the future of the company and its Team's accomplishments since the 1980's.
Presently, there are two designs being readied for assembly at the Oxnard facility. They are the FT330 High Performance turboprop, 6,500 lb GWT, FAA Part 23 Utility category, and the FT420 Extended Range twin jet, 18,000 lb GWT, FAA Part 23 Commuter category.
Extensive experience and data derived from proof-of-concept, FT300 flying test prototype, has and will continue to contribute significantly to improve and streamline the future development of both airplanes.
The FT330 and FT420 have 75 percent commonality in design, tooling and parts, and both aircraft will benefit greatly from the state-of-the-art design and tooling. The FT400, FedEx "Feeder", has been optimized and updated to remain consistent with the company's production philosophy.
